If he thought he'd been nervous for the not date he wasn't really sure what he was feeling for an actual date. Nervous didn't even begin to describe it. He liked Buffy and wanted to spend time with her and had actually thought about the possibility of kissing her, but he could handle it when it was just a fantasy. Having not been on an actual date in over a century, he was very very nervous. He decided to dress nice but not too nice with a bright blue button down that brought out his eyes and navy slacks. He went with his dress shoes but didn't take the time to really shine them. This was coffee. Real date with suit and tie and the whole works, that's when you shine your shoes. He ran his fingers through his hair about twelve times before finally pulling out the comb and running it through, trying to get it at least reasonably neat. When he got to the diner, he took a deep breath and let it out slowly before going inside, trying to at least appear calm on the outside. He hoped anyway. |
