Annie had found herself smiling hugely as she headed over to the pub she had so recently begun to think of not just as Mitchell’s but as theirs. The offer of fresh orange juice and Mitchell’s apparently playful mood was enough to lift the smile that she had been wearing since their wedding back into a grin. She’d hardly got her head around being Mrs Mitchell yet, but all she knew was that she liked it, very much.

She walked into the pub, and plonked herself down at the bar. “Oi barman, I put in an order.” She called teasingly to her husband.

Mitchell was indeed in a rather good mood. Despite the date, the sun had been shining. The weather was still better than most British summer days and he couldn't help but feel content. Life was on its way to finally be what he had always wanted to be.

The vampire cocked up an eyebrow. "Sorry, I only remember an order from my wife. You've seen her?" he teased back, his hands wrapped around the promised glass of fresh orange juice.
