Re: Sorting stuff with Sarah
Sarah had one of those moments when you know you're going to get bumped into, yet it was too quick to avoid herself, so she clutched her computer tighter to herself, so not to drop it. Scrunching her eyes in that brief second. But... When it didn't happen she pried one eye open then another. Staring up at the reason for this outing. What did you say to the boy that ripped your heart out, stomped on it and kept walking? Even if he did it without knowing about it, well, that didn't make it hurt any less.
To her credit she didn't blush. She straightened herself out, smoothed her hands down over her skirt and squared her bare shoulders. Raising her head just a touch.
"Hi." There wasn't any of the warmth in her tone that she would have previously injected. Instead it was just the simple stand alone two letter word.
Expecting him to keep going, she didn't add anymore to hold him up. Instead she leaned against the plate glass window hand against her brow, so that she could take a gander inside, blocking a little of the morning glare.
