Re: Aaron and Laura
Laura nodded she did understand the need to be alone. She wasn't exactly a team player. "I am not one to give sage advice. I am not old, nor wise. But I will offer what I know. Keep in mind who and what you are. Do not allow the 'alone' to change that." Her gaze lay back on the fresh grave. "Many humans would not want to know their death brought out change for the worst in their significant others."
Looking into his eyes again, "I did not know her personally, but the Doctor seemed much like someone I knew a long time ago. And I do not think she would want you to change for the worst, she would want you to remain the man that she loved." Marta had reminded her of her mother, even down to her looks. But Laura would not mention as much.
With a gentle pat to his shoulder, she gave the smallest of smiles, meant to be encouraging. "If you have need to use your skills to the fullest, to workout aggressions that normally would not leave. I can take much abuse. And dole out my own mindfully. You are welcome to come to Connor's Dojo and spar with me any time. I do not sleep unless it is needed. If you have any other need, simply whisper my name, and I will find you." It wasn't a lie, and it might have been a touch corny, but one didn't have to scream for her to track them down by sound.
With that she turned to leave. Her mission accomplished.
