Who? Gruach MacBeth & OPEN
Where? Outside the church
When This afternoon.
What? Lady Macbeth is read onto the island.
Status? Open, ongoing.
Rating? Moderate. Possible talk of murder. Also, please excuse my awful Gaelic translations.
With a smile and a snap of her fingers, Gruach twirled and turned out of the room, protected by her own men. The English were fools, and Siward the biggest fool of all. Oh, that he thought she could be so easily controlled, that she would let her life, her destiny, her body be controlled by a man. No. She was Queen. It wasn't a question of just occupying her home, her country- they couldn't push her aside without a fight.
So she was going to her son- she had to get to him before the English did. A mother looking for her son was stronger than any army-
But this wasn't right. Everything was too quiet- how could her men have fallen so far behind?
"Càit’ bheil sibh?" she questioned, turning on the spot, her dress and cloak spreading out around her, rustling against the floor- and that was the only sound. And then footsteps-
"A tá ann?" she asked, her fingers wrapping around her cloaked dagger. She couldn't be too careful.
