Ramses rested on the sofa in the ground floor drawing room and tried not to think too hard about the absurdity of the situation she found herself in. The last several weeks had been spent in Calleigh's body, and there didn't seem to be any sign they would switch back anytime soon. At least there was the comfort that she would be a he again at some point in the future, though it could be a few years yet for all they knew. Just soon enough that the twins would have no memory of it.
She'd expected to first see the twins face to face in a few more months, and as infants. Now here they were, and teenagers at that. It was going to be a difficult conversation explaining what had happened and Ramses hoped Calleigh would be home soon to lend moral support.
