"You're being more honest than you were the last time I spoke with you." Cuddy pointed out. "That's progress and it's helpful."
"You feel certain that Khonshu isn't another personality?" She asked, not wanting to sidestep that issue.
"The fog you're describing could be the result of advanced sleep deprivation." Cuddy commented, making a mental note to look for better meeting spaces. The pacing reminded her of a caged animal. "It could also be another way of coping. You shut down to keep yourself from being overwhelmed. The fog protects you from stressors."
"We can't ignore the possibility of a physical cause for the fog, one that's affecting your brain or your nervous system or your body chemistry." Cuddy continued. "With another patient, I'd want to run tests. If that isn't an option, can you tell me if you've had any medical testing in the past, and what the results were?"
