Remus listened intently to what she had to say about it all, and he was very lucky that this really wasn't a trap, because he soon found himself incredibly absorbed in her story.
He loosened his hold on the railing, adopting a much more neutral stance as he nodded along.
"Merlin's beard..." he breathed when she was finished. "This... maybe it has happened to loads of us, and no one ever talks about it because we're too worried we'll sound insane," he realised. God, all this time!
"Right. If this is the same place, we need to get ourselves phones, and apartments..." It had been years, so he really wasn't sure where he was going exactly, but they could figure it out. "There should be lifts somewhere," he explained, moving away from the window and nodding for her to come with him, if she wanted to. He'd quite understand if she'd prefer to make it on her own.
