Re: Bruno / Dan - lunchtime
Bruno was lost in his own little world when Dan sat next to him; he'd been isolated for so long that social norms and small talk was still a work in progress with him. It took Dan talking first for him to realise he was sitting next to him because he wanted to, not because it was the best cushion or something.
"Oh! Unfortunately not, I'm not sure the sweet tea is going to cut it," he joked lightly. He smiled properly; he'd been genuinely interested in meeting Dan. He'd never known anyone who actually shared his gift; it made the space station feel a lot less lonely than the Encanto had been.
Oh, right, handshakes, yes. He took the offered hand a couple of beats later than a natural reaction. "Hi, Dan. It's really good to meet you properly, too," he told him honestly. "This is a crazy turn out."
