Who: Everyone
What: PARTY
Where: One of the particularly fancy hotels in Wheel 1
When:Friday night, starting around dinner time
OPEN/Multiple threads/tag warnings on your threads as needed

The lobby of the hotel is mostly unchanged, other than the furniture all being pushed to the edges of the space to make an impromptu dance floor. There's a small stage set-up on one side, during the first half of the night there is just a computer there, it's set to auto-play a variety of music but there is also the option for guests to play a specific song jukebox style.

One another side of the room there are food and (non-alcoholic) drinks set up. Everything is catered from through the door and it's mostly finger foods, appetizers, and small tapas-style plates, everything kept warm on electric warmers. It's enough for a meal if someone wants to sit down or they're all easy enough to graze on through the night. The drink station here is all non-alcoholic and features waters, sodas, and a few custom punch mixes.

Separated from the main food/drink setup is a bar table. It is well stocked with basically an entire bar's worth of liquor, various mixers, fruits, and garnishes. There is a mixed punch here too, this one spiked.

About an hour after most people arrive, Richie and Eddie will start gathering up anyone close to them and directing them into a smaller meeting room off of the lobby. Once in there they'll find what is basically a small wedding setup, rows of chairs lined up with a small altar at the front. (The doors to this room won't be shut at any point, so even people who aren't close to Richie and Eddie would be able to see or sit in if they come across it) Richie and Eddie will renew their vows in a small ceremony led by Loki before leading everyone back out to rejoin the party.

Once they get back, the "DJ station" will be pushed off to one side of the stage and a karaoke machine will take front-and-center. The food tables will be condensed and one replaced by a dessert table, featuring a cake, a couple of pies, and a candy buffet.

The food tables would be taken in once most of it was gone, and Richie and Eddie would wander off sometime after midnight, but the rest would be left in place as long as people want to stay.

"Parties are fun, yes! Dean went to one once, but ended up having to fight a couple of monsters. They were.. Uh..." He paused for a moment trying to think of the word. "Oh! Vampires! They bit Dean, but Dean was already less blue at the time. So it didn't do anything to Dean."

Dean's smile widened even further when Ritchie said he would sing again, this made him rather happy. He then watched Ritchie as he put the cup deep into the trash can, tilting his head to the side as he didn't understand as to why he did that, but he wouldn't ask as it wasn't really his business.

"Good luck, Ritchie!" He gave him a wave and waited for hear him sing.

Well, the conversation had taken a bit of a turn. Ritchie just gave him a wide-eyed look as he spoke of monsters and vampires? "Jesus..." he muttered, not really sure how he felt about that. "The worst we had to worry about was getting spiked," he joked darkly.

Ritchie flicked through the song choices, not entirely sure what he was looking for until he saw it. Perfect.

His turn came, and he picked up the microphone once again.

"Hi, me again. This song is for Gregory, an old friend who is no longer with us," he said softly into the microphone, looking quite somber about it. Partly because it was awfully sad, but also partly a bit of a performance to contrast with his song choice.

The first beats of the song kicked in, and Ritchie continued to look down for the first few seconds, until the familiar countermelody began. "Or as we used to call her..." he looked up with a dazzling smile, and lifted his hands into the air to mimic the original artist's beats and hip shakes.

"Gloria!
You're always on the run now,
Running after somebody,
you gotta get him somehow...
"

He really gave it his all, hitting impressive high notes for his sex, clearly very used to getting lost in a performance. He even held the mic out to the party just expecting them to do the echo. Any hint of anxiety had vanished. He just loved it.

"Are the voices in your head calling, Gloriaaaaa..." he held the final note, clipped it beautifully, flashed a winning smile, and gave his bow.

Oh, Ritchie had no idea of what Dean had faced in his world. But it was neither here nor there, unless he asked Dean for further detail. Said details, may not come in a coherent way. His "less than blue" comment actually meant that Dean himself was undead for a good while.

There was a small frown on Dean's face when Ritchie mentioned a friend who was no longer with them. He knew that pain, even if it wasn't in the forefront of his mind. It was never easy losing a friend, but Dean hoped Ritchie gaining a new one might help.

While Ritchie sang, Dean moved up to the dance floor and began to do his best to dance along to the song. The song itself was entrancing. Dancing was not really his strong suite, but he certainly did try! He found the rhythm of the song, and shifted his body to move along with it, though he made sure his tail or wings didn't bring harm to anyone. While a big dumb brute, he was anything but clumsy. Any onlookers would definitely be curious at the sight before them.

When Ritchie was done, Dean stopped and clapped his hands in thunderous applause. He let out a rather loud, but happy roar as way of appreciation for his new found friend's song.
