Astrid, Brenna, Dan and Bryn visiting a museum
Norway was not what Brenna had expected. New York had been a nightmare. The station was a metal place. The walls had armour. New York had not been different in that regard. However, the city was crowded. She had never seen so many people at the same place. Even the biggest battles could assess such masses. Her home, however, would be different. Cities no bigger than a couple of houses and greenery all around. Everyone would know each other.
It turned out, Norway, however, was not that different. Brenna had been in shock ever since she had arrived. The mountains reminded her of home so did the sea but the beautiful forests were sprinkled with white houses and lined with streets. There were people everywhere. Even the sea was full of them. The boats were huge and made out of metal. She was unsure how they even moved as there were no paddles. This new world was not Brenna's liking. She had hoped to come home and had found her home destroyed. Why their descendants had treated their country like this, she was unsure.
Brenna longed for a piece of the past and so she had convinced her family and Dan to go to a place with pieces from her time. She was excited to see something familiar. They had ships there. She would be seeing a ship like hers. "Ah, you will see, our ships are way better than the metal caskets!" she said to Dan as they approached the building, forgetting that he had been to her own time as well.
