The steady rock of the carriage had to the two toddlers lazing in their seat. They weren't bothered in the slightest by the sudden voices, save for a little yawn first done by one, then the other. A smile tugged at her lips. They didn't go through the doorsickness. No matter how bad she wanted to stay behind.
"I'm some responsible parent. I don't want to go back to face my daughter and her husband... I don't want to back for it to be more of the same shit different day. But. We have too. One way or another we'd be reclaimed by the station." Shepard sighed softly. "I wish we had a little longer. I haven't enjoyed myself that much in a long time. Even with your brother trying to convert me."
She threw him a little smile, before she shifted in her seat, tugging her skirt back down, adjusting her bodice. She wouldn't miss the dress.
