Hard for even the allure of a dozen or so plates of food. She could imagine he would taste better than anything on the tables. Cake included. Some of that might have been written on her face.
Shepard chuckled softly when he waggled his eyebrows. She waggled her own when he mentioned the rooms. "No I haven't. Just how many rooms does this place have? Maybe we should take a tour." She could see the Darcys mingling out of the corner of her eye. She didn't know if they would be on their stop, but she didn't want to talk about her feelings. At least not those feelings. She tugged that bottom button. "Feel capable of being my tour guide?"
