While Leif had been transformed into a child Roxy had found her thoughts curiously preoccupied by the man she had known for barely three weeks. Yet the desire to talk to Leif and the inability to do so set her on edge and drove her thoughts further down the rabbit hole. Morning runs with the boys didn't help. Grooming Jeannie had not helped. The gym and training with anyone who would volunteer did nothing. It was a plague! A handsome, tall, mysterious plague. Furthermore, she didn't know who to talk to it about. It almost felt embarrassing to be so preoccupied by a man, especially when she had hardly let herself wander that path in the past.

Several times throughout the week she had debated texting her friends to air her grievances and yet each time she erased the message. Putting it into word actualized the affair her mind was having with an imagined creature. Two dates and a meeting with his mother hardly seemed to warrant such behaviors. Yet she found herself day dreaming about Leif even as she ran on the treadmill or sat to read. Her favorite idea thus far as that which made true on their promise to go camping. Maybe now that he had returned to his natural state they could do just that? It sounded great.

Roxy's thoughts simply went round and round as she showered, arms raised as she gently washed conditioner from her hair and enjoyed the hot water on her back. Maybe they could go through that new door that opened and take a trip? Although there was something worrisome about Rhysand's statement about love making. Best to wait until their spring rituals were finished. Or maybe he was being poetic? Although his true meaning hardly mattered as she closed her eyes to fully rinse the top of her head when she imagined Leif there, too. Laughing, she shook her head as if to clear it away and stepped from the water, turned it off, and twist her hair until it wasn't so sopping wet.

A buzz at the door told her she had spent far too much time day dreaming. "Ah--Just a minute!!" Roxy shout through the small one bedroom apartment as she hurried around for a towel. Pathetic. What kind of woman had she become?!

	Roxy leaned into his touch softly, eyes half-closing as she enjoyed the contact. "That's true. What if we are attacked by bears?" she teased, trying not to laugh and move far from the touch. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Being attacked by bears would be a bad situation." He nodded. Leif shifted and rested his other hand on her hip, still lightly stroking her cheek. 	"I can think of a few ways to keep you warm." He smiled. "But a fire is very important." He nodded and moved just a little bit closer. Leif moved his hand so that it was flat against her cheek, lightly stroking with his thumb. "I'd really like to kiss you now." He wasn't sure why he said it rather than just doing it. Roxy blushed at his sly commentary and nodded. "I could think of a fair few, as well," she said. As Leif then shift closer she put her hand on his chest gently where it slid up to rest upon his shoulder. Rather than replying, though she briefly considered it, she stretched up to meet his lips with her own. The kiss, unlike the few they had shared before, was not as chaste or swift.

	Leif slid his hand to the back of Roxy's neck as he kissed back. His other hand moved to her lower back, pulling her just a bit closer. He felt like he was on fire and he'd happily burn to ash if it meant the kiss didn't stop. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

As it turned out, Roxy's day dreams were fairly prophetic. The kiss was better than expected and she didn't let up easily until she remembered breathing to be required to live. Pulling away only enough to catch her breath she gave out a subtle, air laugh. The hand on his shoulder gave it a squeeze of appreciation as her gaze finally lift to find Leif's. She felt a bit starry.

	Roxy nodded, feeling her cheeks turn pink again as she realized she was staring at him. Forcing herself to look away she playfully picked at the collar and top button of his shirt. "Mmm...what was that about camping? I can't seem to remember." She laughed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Automatically, Roxy looked down as he did before gasping in embarrassment for having done so and bursting into laughter. "I'm sorry!" she yelled in apology for looking around her giggle fit, one hand half hiding her face behind spread fingers. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Fair enough," Roxy returned with a nod as she touched his jawline. "I appreciate you not pressing the issue." There was a pause as she swallowed and cleared her throat softly. "It isn't that I don't want to...Because...I do want it...I just wouldn't want a relationship based on solely on the physical." She smiled at him, fingers gently finding their way over his lips.

	She hummed. "Is this okay?" She asked as she paused, hand rubbing his chest gently. So strong. A primal part if Roxy regret wanting to wait to get to know him first...but she wouldn't skip out on her morals and principles. Roxy continued for another moment before stopping with a content sigh and resting her head comfortably. Reaching out with the hand that had been on his chest she grabbed the remote from nearby and turned on the tv. Whatever was playing was fine. Some movie. She wasn't paying attention it was just background noise as they sat.

Eventually, she started to talk and ask him questions to start some nice conversations.

	An hour passed as they talked. Then two. The movie ended and another began. Roxy hardly noticed the time go by even when she got up for more snacks or to use the restroom or even walk the dog. Finally when she saw the hour she laughed through her yawn. "You've been here all day!" She exclaimed while picking up. "I didn't notice it get so late." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
