Who: Jessica and Lucifer
What: Round two
Where: Lucifer's apartment
When: middle of the night, 3/19
Closed/Ongoing/High

Jessica had done little but throw her jacket on over the ratty tank top and jeans she’d been wearing before leaving the apartment toward Lucifer’s. If she weren’t already drunk she probably would have thought it either incredibly surreal or incredibly dumb that she had basically made a man claiming to be the devil himself in to a booty call, but she was just drunk enough that she didn’t care either way. She’d spent the day in New York, bringing as much alcohol as she could carry at one time back to her apartment, which was looking more and more like the store he had bought out, but while she’d been there she’d made the mistake of looking herself up. Looking him up. Finding out he was dead should have been a relief but everything that had seemed to happen leading up to it just made her want to drink even more. And maybe it was just knowing that Luke had left her, or maybe it was her making stupid decisions so she didn’t have to make harder ones, but she wanted not to think and the booze just wasn’t strong enough.

She followed his directions and found his apartment easily enough, knocking quickly once she got there.

"Just...gonna pee first." she mumbled before standing, she grabbed her panties from the floor next to the bed and took them with her toward the door she assumed could only be a bathroom. Once behind the door she tossed the ruined fabric in the bin and did what she needed. Once she'd cleaned up a bit and drank a few sips of water straight from the tap she went back out to the bed. "You really don't care?" she double checked. He was a good lay, she didn't want to ruin the possibility of a repeat performance by overstaying her welcome.

While Jessica was in the bathroom he straightened up the room a bit, though not much. It was a vanity thing more than anything else. He took another drink of the whiskey and was back in bed before she walked in. "I don't mind at all." There'd been plenty of occasions when random bed mates had spent the night.

"Good cause I can barely walk." She smirked, all but falling in to the bed. Most of her ached, if she were honest, but it was a good ache, something that came with deep, full bodied satisfaction and she knew it would be gone by morning anyway.

Lucifer laughed and shook his head. "That's good to hear." He smirked.

She was tempted, for a moment, to lay her head on his chest and sleep like that, just because there was an odd sort of comfort in sleeping with someone, though she'd never admit that, even to herself. She'd ofteb done the same with Trish though, when they were kids and she had a nightmare about the crash or she knew her mom had been awful to Trish that day. But she didn't want to seem clingy so instead she just pulled a blanket over herself and lay on her side. It wasn't long before she actually fell asleep.
