Izzy was happy that the doctors offices weren't that far from the parking area. She was blowing up so quickly this time around she would swear she could practically see her belly growing in real time. Of course it wasn't quite that bad, but every day she got a little bigger, a little heavier, a little more awkward and a little more drained a little earlier than the day before.

Combine that with being a mother to four children under three, foster mother to Adele and Elli, looking after her namesake Granddaughter, be a mom to her adult children and be a wife to her husband, it was a wonder she had any energy at all. Fortunately all the adults in the household were falling all over themselves to help with the household chores and kid wrangling, which was a huge weight off her shoulders.

That just left working on the project to help take down the Spire and get that wrapped up before she was too pregnant to keep working. Which she suspected wouldn't be much longer. Henry might even insist she stop this week for all she knew.

She reached the door to Henry's office and knocked.

Henry was up from his desk rather quickly and he opened the door, motioning for Izzy to come inside. "Come in and have a seat." He had a feeling she'd be in the mood for it. "How are you feeling today?"

"Hello Henry," she smiled and walked through the door toward the offered seat. "Thank you. I think I will."

She sat without hesitation, glad to be off her feet. "A little tired, honestly. I didn't sleep well last night. Aside from that? All right I suppose. Yourself?"

Izzy knew he'd been asking both out of politeness and as a doctor, so she'd gone beyond the standard pleasantries.

"I'm good, thank you." He was spending all of his time at the hospital but this certainly wasn't about him.

"Unfortunately the fatigue is just going to get worse. Do you have adequate assistance at home?" He was pretty sure he knew the answer but he felt the need to ask.

"I have been through this twice before." Izzy pointed out. She'd been pregnant this time last year, which was crazy. "It's just all happening so much sooner this time around." She'd been showing at three months with twins, but not looking (and feeling) like she was about to hit her third trimester like she was this time around.

"I have people, mostly the adult versions of my kids, falling all over themselves offering to help, and there's Tom. It feels like I'm taking advantage of them though." She honestly wasn't sure there could be enough assistance for seven children under four once these three came out.

"You've been pregnant twice before but you've never had triplets. It's very different even from twins. You'll need to rest more often and earlier." He nodded. "And you're not taking advantage of them if they're offering." Henry smiled softly. "You're going to need a lot of help in the coming months. Most women who carry more than two end up on bed rest for the third trimester." He didn't want to do that but it might not be avoidable.

"Do you have any complaints? Aside from the fatigue of course." He opened her file and started to take notes.

"The usual complaints," Izzy sighed. "They're just happening sooner this time around. Pregnancy brain, having to go to the bathroom more often, that sort of thing." It had made working on the project to bring down the spire that much more difficult and slowed her down.

She didn't like the idea of bedrest much, she'd spent a few weeks in that situation the first time around. Then again, at the rate she was going she might not want to do much of anything by then anyway. "I just feel like I'm taking advantage of the kids when they help out, they should be out living their own lives not stuck taking care of me or their younger siblings."

"Unfortunately I can't do anything about those." He kept making notes. After her last statement he put his pen down.

"If they're offering their help, Izzy, then they're not stuck. The interaction that I have had with your children....they're good people. They wouldn't be helping you if they didn't truly want to. Just make sure they understand that they are allowed to tell you no, though I seriously doubt they will." He smiled.

"If only you could." She sighed, half joking. It was her own fault she was in this situation, from the wish in the first place to not being able to get enough of Tom a few months ago. But she couldn't bring herself to truly be upset about it.

"They are great people." Izzy agreed. "I hope I do half as good a job with their younger versions as Tom and I must have done in the timeline they came from. I just feel guilty, especially with Sookie. She helps out so much already." But she was going to have to break down and ask them to help more, she was already feeling tired and stressed as it was and it would only get worse. "I'll ask though, I promise."

She thought for a moment about his earlier question, and added: "If I have a complaint it's that I'm always hungry, I can't seem to eat enough to keep up."

Henry nodded. "That is quite common. I can give you some vitamins that might help. And we'll need to set you up a diet so that you don't gain more weight than absolutely necessary." Henry grabbed a note pad and started writing. "It is actually healthier to eat several small meals throughout the day than three big meals. As long as they're healthy, well balanced meals."

"I'm aware of that." Izzy refrained from pointing out again that she'd been through this twice before, and recently. "I don't really get time to have big meals anyway, I'm too busy even when I'm not pregnant. What I'm saying is even constantly snacking on healthy foods throughout the day whenever I get a free minute I can't seem to get enough, that's new for me."

She doubted gaining more weight than necessary was going to be an issue, if anything gaining enough weight probably would.

Henry frowned slightly. "Really." He got up and went into the lab area, coming back with a small machine in his hand. "Could you hold out your hand?"

Izzy frowned as well when he made the trip and came back with the device in his hands, but dutifully put out her hand as requested.

"What is that?"

"It's just a glucose meter." Henry smiled. He stuck it against her finger and it took a reading with a quick little pin prick. "When was the last time you ate?"

"About an hour ago." She raised an eyebrow, ignoring the brief flare of pain from her finger at the pin prick. "I had a chicken sandwich and some carrots. Why do you ask?"

Henry frowned again but it lasted only a moment. "Even given that, your blood sugar is a little on the high side. It's nothing to worry about now but we will need to keep an eye on it." He sat back down behind his desk and started to make some more notes in the file. "Given this level we should be able to control it with the right diet."

Izzy sighed, seeing sweets coming out of her diet for the foreseeable future. "So much for the occasional guilty pleasure now that I can actually keep food down again."

"So I don't need to take insulin or anything like that?"

"You can still have the occasional guilty pleasure, it might just be less frequent than you would like." He kept writing at his spoke.

"As of right now it's not that bad so I think that we can maintain it with diet. I will have to keep an eye on it, though."

"Right." So gorging on ice cream was out, obviously. She'd have to research the issue and figure out what to avoid besides the obvious. "I guess that's not so bad, it could be worse."

Henry nodded. "I'm going to send you with a glucose meter as well. You'll need to take readings first thing when you wake up in the morning and last thing before you go to bed at night. I want to do this for three weeks and then take a look at the numbers." He got a separate pad of paper and started to write down instructions.

"All right." She didn't like the idea of pricking herself twice a day, but if it kept her from having complications it was worth the irritation.

"Anything else out of the ordinary you want me to do?"
