The remaining Sullys had stayed up well into the night, talking and remembering the good times they'd had with those members of the family the island had taken away from them that week. Eventually everyone drifted off to bed in ones and twos until the house was quiet and dark.

JR woke sometime after midnight in a cold sweat, the sounds of gunfire and men's screams fresh in her mind from the nightmare. A glance to her side showed his body, currently housing Elyssa, still sound asleep and apparently undisturbed. Thankful, JR planted a gentle kiss on Elyssa's cheek, then eased out of bed and into a robe and slippers before quietly leaving the spare bedroom for the kitchen. Coffee wasn't something she could have since they'd found out they were going to be parents, but she could still have a glass of water and let the bad memories pass before trying to go back to sleep.

Upon reaching the kitchen she found she wasn't the only one up, the light was on and Rachel was sitting at the table. "Heya sis, couldn't sleep?"

"It's not so bad, honestly." JR shrugged, having another sip of the tea. It was starting to cool but it wasn't cold yet, she figured she may as well finish it. "Different, that's for sure, and it took a little getting used to. But kind of interesting." And the sex had been amazing, not necessarily better than as a man, but completely different.

She decided since Rachel had already figured it out there was no point continuing to lie, especially after her sister had been nice enough to let it drop. "And your wishful thinking was right." Her face heated up and she looked down at the mug. "It wasn't idle speculation. We haven't told anyone yet, it's really early still."

	"Being a man was pretty interesting. Have me a different perspective on things." She smiled. Once she got over looking like her brother things were pretty great. Rachel walked over and gave JR a kiss on the cheek. "That's really great. And my lips are sealed." She made a gesture as if zipping them. "Though I will lay odds you already told Stevie." "It's interesting seeing how the other half survives isn't it?" She asked, finishing the tea.

She sighed and banged her head gently on the table at Rachel's teasing. Damn. Busted again. "Yeah, guilty. I was pretty upset earlier and it came out." She bit her lip. "I wouldn't know at all if Eylssa's omnitool hadn't told us. The Sully curse strikes again, it thinks we're having more than one."

"That never stopped you and Sarah from forcing me to play dress up with you." She accused with a smile. "But yeah, Stevie's the closest thing to a brother I have left." And they'd always been close friends growing up, even if the age difference was reversed now thanks to her trip back in time.

"Here's hoping." She rolled her eyes and reached up to pat her sister's hand. "With my luck the island will leave me in this body the entire time."
