Who: Izzy Sully-Bradbury and Cristiano
What: Time away from the big ship blocking the sun.
When: Daytime?
Where: The pool in Sully home basement.
Warnings: None.
Open: To Juliet and the other Sullys/Extended Sullys.

Izzy carried an inflated pool lounger carefully and set in in the pool. "Aunt Juliet? Cristiano? Are you here?" She called out as she sat down and floated around. "Don't tip me over, okay?" It was fun and since she was in the basement, she didn't even have to wear sunscreen. Her mom would approve, when she came back from exploring the Titanic. Maybe she could get both her mothers to come down and float with her someday. Or have a water gun fight. Or play Marco Polo. For now she had her Aunt and Uncle, if they were around. "Hello?"

You mean...frighten, then?

Cristiano had been reclining in the alcove under the water that was his and Juliet's home-away-from-home when he heard Izzy's voice carry down through the water. He set aside the phone he had been looking at, browsing through various people's posts on the island's network, and swam out with easy swipes of his tail. At her comment not to be tipped, the merman respect her wishes and instead shot up out of the water.

"Roooooar! I'm a shark!" he yelled, accent thick as he laughed.

	The man chuckled and float around on his back, meeting her little paddling floaty halfway around. His tail alone was as big as the lounge, the fin flipping at the end wider as well. "No, they do not. I am being funny," Cristiano told her with a cheeky grin. "They do not make much sound at all--they have no ability to do so. There are no insides that make noise!" 	"Some cartoon sharks make noise. Some of them even talk! I don't think we have any on the island. Not yet." Izzy did think that would be cool. Some talking sharks, or other sea creatures, for Cris and Juliet to hang out with. They could introduce her to them too. "How do you know a shark is coming if they don't make any noise?" 	Cristiano considered his answer before rubbing his bearded cheek. "Well, the purpose of a shark is to not be known when they're about to attack...they've been adapting for centuries to be the most ferocious hunters in the sea. 	"All sharks are scary. Even our spell casters that speak to animals fear them! But the people of the frozen north tame and ride orcas." He moved his hands about in a very conspiracy-theory sort of way. "We have not done much with Juliet's magic. It is not the same as mine so I do not know how to guide her. 	"Maybe that's what I should be for Halloween. A shark!" Izzy grinned. "Do the orcas like giving rides? They're like big whales, right? What about dolphins? I'd like to ride on a dolphin someday." "You'll be the noisiest shark ever to live!" Cris teased as he reached out a hand to rock her floaty back and forth playfully. "The orcas do not like being ridden. They require a strong hand to tame them! And an orca is a type of whale, but most whales are much larger than an orca. Whales are the source of our magic. They are mystical, ancient beasts too gentle for anyone to harm. Those that do are sick." He frowned at the idea. "Dolphins are very nice. You could probably ride one. I will have to ask the next one I see, though I am not an omnivox--which means a mer that speaks to animals."

He then smiled warmly at the thought of Juliet, for he did love his Angelfish so. "We will just have to keep trying. I'm sure she'll find her way."

"I'll be like you! A roaring shark! Grr! Roar! Roar!" Izzy giggled and made a few 'scary' faces and reached into the water to splash him. "Then I definitely want to ride a dolphin. I wouldn't want to make an animal give me a ride if he didn't like it." She looked at him. "They shouldn't hurt them. Maybe they don't know that whales are magical." She thought for a second, imagining talking to Taronyu again or to Trouble and Yuey. "Oh, maybe I should be an omnivox for Halloween. It'd be cool to animals."

Izzy nodded. Things had a way of working out. "Yeah."
