Things with his parents had gone better than he expected, but it was still a little weird. He was able to talk his dad into letting him leave so that he could meet Bucky, but also so that he and Stacey could talk. He'd borrowed a pair of his dad's jeans and some sneakers, though he kept with the bright blue t-shirt he'd shown up in. It didn't take him long to get outside the apartments, checking his phone as he waited.

	"We're definitely not doing any moping tonight." He patted Bucky on the shoulder and headed into the living room to put the picture in the frame. 	Bucky pulled the ice cream back out and started scooping it in to bowls while Steve was gone, opening up all the toppings and leaving them on the counter with spoons. He looked back to Steve and smiled and nodded, "I do. They always talked about wanting some nice pictures, and you do great work." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Thanks." He still blushed a little bit at compliments, even from Bucky. Steve put the framed picture back a bit on the counter away from the toppings and then started making his sundae. He put a little bit of everything on it, making sure to do extra whipped cream and the sprinkles and a cherry on top.

"The way I eat I'm honestly surprised I haven't managed to somehow contract diabetes too." He grabbed a spoon and took a big bite of his sundae, ending up with some whipped cream on his cheek.

Bucky loaded up his sundae too, once the picture was safe, his bowl close to overflowing by the time he finished licking the caramel off his fingers. "Don't even say that, the island might get ideas." Bucky joked a little, though he knew it'd be rough for Steve if he did ever get it, he loved sweets. That jogged his memory real quick too and he went back to the basket, lifting out the little box that had Steve's medicine in it, "Don't forget these."

He snorted another laugh before wiping the cream off Steve's cheek with his finger and then licking that off too. "Though it does have to make it to your mouth for you to get sick."

Steve set his bowl down and grabbed a glass of water, taking a couple of the pills before he went back to the ice cream. "I'm kind of hoping that the island will get the idea to fix some of my problems." Like it had done for his dad. Steve chuckled a little.

"That does help, right?" He picked his bowl back up and took another bite. "Come on, let's go in the living room." He grabbed the bottle of liquor and carried it and his bowl in to sit down on the couch.

	Bucky thought Steve had the right idea, forgoing any sort of cups to follow him to the couch, sitting just next to him and taking a big bite of his sundae. "Wanna watch a movie?" He asked, words a little mumbled around the food in his mouth. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Bucky found the remote and flipped through netflix until he found some dumb looking comedy that he hadn't seen before and turned it on, reaching to take a sip of the liquor too. "Enjoying your sundae?" he asked with a grin, eatin more of his and having to lick caramel off his fingers again after. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"It's amazing." Steve nodded. He was in the process of taking another bite when he got distracted by Bucky licking his fingers. Some of the ice cream fell off the spoon and onto his shirt. "Crap." 	Bucky wasn't paying enough attention to notice exactly why Steve dropped his ice cream, but he did set his bowl down too. "Need help?" he asked, he was terrible with laundry but knew how to take orders well enough. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Steve thought about shaking his head but then he realized he wasn't going to be able to continue to wear the shirt. "Could use some help getting the shirt off without getting ice cream in my hair." 	Bucky looked Steve over for a moment, teeth catching the corner of his lip as he tried to figure out how they could do it. "Just don't spill again, that's harder to clean." he smirked, pointing his spoon at Steve's chest before bringing it back to his mouth to lick clean before he stuck it back in his ice cream. Steve took the bottle and took a drink. It did taste pretty good. He laughed at what Bucky said, which caused a bit of the stuff to go down the wrong way and he started to cough. He took the time to set his bowl down before raising his left arm in the air, hand on his chest as he coughed a few more times.

"Swallow the breathe, Steve." He managed to get out as he coughed a little more.

Bucky's instincts kicked in right away and he grabbed the bottle of liquor to get it out of the way all while setting down his bowl too. Once there was less worry of making a mess his hand was on Steve's back, rubbing in deep circles between his shoulderblades. "You got this." he reassured softly, on the lookout for signs it might be developing in to an asthma attack.

	It only took a couple more coughs and a bit of throat clearing for Steve to finally get himself back under control. He smiled at Bucky, sitting up just a little bit more. "Just went down the wrong way, that's all." He patted Bucky's knee to reassure him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Good." Bucky nodded, handing Steve his ice cream, downing another shot of the booze and setting it between them, going back to scrape his bowl clean. "Caramel, good choice." he commented, using his finger to grab a scoop off the side of his bowl, setting the dish aside and licking his finger again. He could feel the booze starting to make his head swim just a little bit, just enough to make him feel warm and fuzzy and pleasant.

Steve nodded, his eyes never leaving Bucky. He was pretty sure he didn't even blink there for a moment. He picked up the bottle and took a long drink from it, trying to loosen himself up. Maybe that would help him not be so distracted anymore. Just another couple of bites of ice cream and his bowl was clean as well.

"Habit tells me to go put these in the sink and let them soak so the ice cream doesn't dry out on the sides."

Bucky sighed, everything exaggerated and dramatic as he slid himself off the couch and picked up both their bowls, trying to hide his grin. "I got iiiit." he whined, voice high and drawn out. He slumped himself back to the kitchen before the laughter set in, doing as Steve had said and leaving them to soak.

He was back in the livingroom just a minute later, flopping himself over the back of the couch instead of walking around it. "Hi." he grinned up to Stevie from where he landed, on his back with his legs hanging half off one arm, head close enough to Stevie's thigh that his hair was brushing against his pants.

	Steve laughed out loud at Bucky's whining. "You're such a dork." He shook his head. He then looked down at Bucky and his fingers almost immediately ran through his friend's hair. "Hi."
