Now that I have sufficiently calmed down I figured it was time I introduced myself, properly.

My name is Erik and it would seem that I like the rest of you have been pulled into whatever this is by the mists. I was and remain less than impressed considering Genosha had just been officially declared a sanctuary for mutants, a safe place, a place where mutants didn't need to be concerned about how they looked, what powers they possessed, or what they had done previous to arriving there.

My official job title here is Mechanics Lead which plays to all my strengths.

So yes, I would say pleasure to be here, but that would be a lie and that's no way to start things off.

You know, it's at times like this, when I'm trapped in a town surrounded by a mysterious mist where there are Heaven and Hell fractions called to help in a conflict, I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young.

I'm still finding it difficult to believe any of this is real.

I debated whether or not it would be a good idea to reveal this, but after talking to one of my best friends I do think it's for the best.
