I guess some of us aren't special enough for doors. But avoiding doors did give me the gift of burning myself making brownies, which I'm betting doesn't happen in that forest.

	It wasn't like I was pushing myself, or even trying to make a sound. A yelp is a pretty natural reaction to pain. Do I get frustrated that I can't communicate without some way to write things down? Obviously. But I'm not sure I'~~ve a~~m ready yet, either. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I wonder if the doctors here can do anything. Not necessarily the vocal cords but the pain for now, at least. I mean, this might not be the only time this happens, it's like you said, you get hurt you yelp. You're not exactly used to not doing so.

Or...is it cheating if you use magic? There's people here who can do magic. Someone might be able to help. If you wanted to. I literally do know how frustrating it is to want to talk to someone and not be able to.

	I have secret painkillers that I got from the doctor the second day I got here. But I don't want to be too reliant on them, so I'm trying popsicles first. It feels like cheating. 	Allison, why are the painkillers a secret? If ice doesn't work, maybe try heat. It's getting cold so soup season?? You were the first one to see how powerful she really was. I can't say I wouldn't have fought back if I were in the same position. You did what you felt was your only choice. I just don't think punishing yourself for it is the right way to go.
