The thing that really really bugs me about cartoons is when they draw them with only eight fingers but everyone's still using base ten, like where did those extra two numbers come from? Forget older people complaining about New Math, the numbers 9 and 10 would be a complete travesty. Why are we doiing this to our children?? It's just some abstract philosophical construct that doesn't mean anything in the real world. 7 x 3 is not 21, everyone knows it's 25. I don't know how they expect me to buy into the world building when they make such amateur mistakes.
