The first time I was here, I'd started setting up a small center for self defense training. I stopped by the location a several days ago and somehow it's still there with most of the equipment and the supplies I'd started gathering.

My intention for the center was for those that had no or minimal past training or enhanced abilities. The focus would be on basic self defense or fighting skills plus a few tricks that can help in the field when supplies or cover are limited. This is primarily for those that would like to learn, not for general sparring or working out, but you can still drop by.

There are probably other places like this that have started up since I was last here, but I thought I'd try to get it back going again if there's interest. The plan is to start small, but if there are a handful who may be interested as instructors, let me know. The center is set up in the area of the city usually known as Hell's Kitchen.

	That's was I was hoping. With so many types of people and abilities, I know there are usually a lot of sparring clubs and places to let off steam for the experienced but not always for the inexperienced. 	Definitely. For us with powers it’s one thing, but there’s a lot of people here just plucked from a normal life. God knows what this place might toss at us next too. I’m sure people would appreciate a patient teacher too. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Exactly. Those of us with training or powers have that to fall back on if needed, but others should feel capable of defending themselves to an extent too. I like to think I've developed some patience over the years, before and after any official training I've had. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah, supposedly there was a maze last Halloween that sucked everyone in. It's those kinds of situations that people need to have some understanding of defending themselves. Well if you ever need a demonstration assistant, I'm a hardy girl. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	A maze that trapped people. I'd wager it was more along the trick theme of Halloween than treat. If you're half as hardy as the Carol I knew before, try not to kick my ass too hard in front of the students. (Reply to this) (Parent)
