After you died, I was mad at him for his part in it. I was also—The Hollow killing me hurt, and I was full of pain and rage and dark magic. I took it out on him and Dad the most. Mostly because they let me, but also because they were who I was maddest at besides myself, and I was already on my way out.

I get that it was really recent for him, but it was almost four years ago for me. I don't blame him anymore. But he keeps throwing money and presents at me like I'm a timebomb that can be reset with kittens and ~~unearned~~ praise.

But I've also seen how much happier and more relaxed you are when he's around. I remember the difference. So this isn't a you-and-me thing, or a you-and-him thing, or a you-me-and-him thing.

[ ... ] I don't think any of this is making sense anymore...

He's trying to make it up to you the best he can since it's so recent for him, but maybe a little less with money and kittens and more with getting to know you would be a better option.

Hope, you're fine. I get it. It's complicated. I do love him, but like I said, you are the most important person in my life. Knowing how you feel means everything to me. It's not any of those things and even if you don't think you make sense, you do. It just complicated.

I'm also not a kid anymore. You've got this incredible second chance and you don't have to shape your life to fit me now. If I thought it was a bad idea. Which I don't think it's a bad.
