While it is definitely disconcerting to be weakened by an island. I actually miss seeing the stars more than anything else. Exploring has kept me occupied, and out of trouble for the most part. But I'm looking forward to getting back to work when we do eventually return to Goodland.

Usually we return to Goodland after a couple of weeks and things go back to normal. Or as normal as they get in this universe.

So Goodland is kind of the home base. Even the people from here don't seem to be excited to be home, so hopefully we won't be here long.

Exactly that. We always end up back there, so it's as much if a home as we have in this reality. No, they don't, there's a strange feeling here.

It feels as though I have been covered with a wet blanket. All my senses are dulled. The sun isn't as bright here either.
