Do you think anyone's head has ever actually exploded from too much studying? Skipping ahead a few months was not what I needed this year. I could swear my spidey sense is starting to go off in class every time a teacher's about to bring up more review.

What exactly is a spidey sense? That's the first time I've heard that before.

Uh, it's like... an alarm in my head that goes off when there's danger.

An alarm in your head? That doesn't exactly sound very appealing. Does it ever bother you?

Not as much as getting ambushed by supervillains would.

Supervillains, okay. So, this alarm of yours allows you to stop those?

Kinda, yeah.

How advanced is this alarm?

Like, chronologically? Not a lot. It's normally when something's right about to happen. It's more like really heightened instincts than telling the future. Like your brain notices something that you don't and it gives you time to get out of the way.

So, not really an alarm. Just really kick ass instincts. Though, it sounds a bit more advanced than that.

For me, it's more like a sixth sense. Almost precognitive but not quite to that level. But it does come in handy when visibility is low or non-existent and to aim. It's probably very similar to Miles's, but mine's kind of a tin I'm not him and vice versa so I don't know for sure.

Wait, so you have whatever this spidey sense thing is too?

Sixth sense makes a little more sense, I think. Sounds headache inducing too. But if it comes in handy, that's what matters.

We've got similar powers. Except mine are cooler.

I think I'm the original but Yeah. I know there are several of us with similar abilities, but I can't speak about all of them. I don't even know all of them. A few others were here, but now it's just Miles and me.

I don't know how it works for everyone (well, Miles explained it for him, so I guess I know now how it works for him), but I haven't gotten a headache from it. Yet. I think if it were fully precognitive I might, though. Mental powers sound like a pain at times. Neat! But a pain, too.

I don't think I've ever met anyone with abilities. So, the abilities that you two have are pretty fascinating.

I'm not sure anyone could truly handle mental powers. Those sound like they'd be a pain all the time.

Oh, heaps of people have them here. Powers anyway. I don't know about mental powers. At home they're really rare though, most of the time it was just my Peter fighting against crazy scientists and their experiments and then all the others I met were just other Peters from other worlds, and Gwen and Peni, who are like stand in Peters.

Nah, not really. This doesn't seem like the kind of place that respects plans.
