Guess it was building on what was already there. Mine were deliberately very limited though, they're really only designed to mimic nerve pathways for wing control. I have been meaning to look at it more now the political constraints are different.

Good thing we've got some time to mess around with these things, then. I haven't gotten non-greenified DNA available in, well, ever.

One of the first things I did was collect several test tubes of the stuff to see what happens. It looks kind of like that magnetic sand.
