I feel like I'm getting tired really easily lately.

Only four days until half price chocolate day. I'm pre-emptively getting my exercise in.

That too. It's to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus after he was executed and then rose from the dead three days later (except it's actually two days later... never quite figured that one out). But for kids it's mostly about chocolate eggs.

Ah. Because humans do not come back from the dead normally. But why chocolate? I understand the day of love to have value in chocolate, it produces endorphins to make people happy and affectionate, correct? But why chocolate eggs?

No idea. I know it used to be more common to just use actual eggs and paint or dye them and some people still do. Guess someone figured that chocolate always sells well and it caught on.

Humans are overly obsessed with chocolate. While also obsessing over the effects of sugar. Do they not see the correlation?

There's a massive guilt complex about food in general. It's not something I've ever really studied but there's a lot of talk about good and bad food and how what you eat is some kind of indication of who you are as a person. Americans mostly value pretty bland food, honestly. There's definitely some stuff that's over the top but it gets looked down on a lot.
