	I've had time to come to terms with it. Besides, my best friend occasionally gets possessed by a cosmic entity with the power to destroy planets. 	Jean, right? Phoenix? I've never seen the Phoenix up close. I've seen the X-Men, there were some I met when we were fighting against the Registration Act, but I never got to go to Xaviers which I was always really disappointed about. Now it's looking like I'm not a mutant anyway so I wouldn't have met the entrance critera but still, woulda been cool. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yes, Jean. Someone else who died and came back to life. I was in Wakanda during the registration fight, but we did what we could on the diplomatic front.

In some ways the mutant requirement seems a little artificial, sometimes. Charles built the place to be a haven against discrimination, and bigots rarely care about trivial distinctions like someone's exact genetic makeup. I know the Avengers had their Academy for a while, but it seems like there isn't much for non-mutant teenagers coming to grips with their powers. I'm not sure if the school should be that place, but there ought to be something.

	Yeah, didn't qualify for their Academy either. Probably something to do with Captain America constantly threatening to call our parents for using our powers for good. Billy Kaplan, by the way.
