Any suggestions for staving off mind-numbing boredom?

I never thought I'd say this but I am starting to miss Kirkwall.

What is Kirkwall like?

Chaotic. Busy. Stabby. Torn apart. On fire.

It definitely is that. Less so these days or so I'm told.

For Kirkwall residents yes.

I mean I'm happy the issues that plagued the city have been resolved but at the same time I find myself missing the old days.

What do you miss most?

I'm Freddy.

My friends and family, mostly. Well that and the ale, it was a lot stronger back home.

I'm Ethan but most people call me Hawke.

I miss my family too. Maybe you can ask the Entity for the ale?

Hi, Hawke!

Perhaps though I am hesitant to ask unknown forces for things as quite often they come with a price.

Kirkwall as it is now, or Kirkwall as it was when everything was on fire?

At this point? When everything was on fire.

Before you killed the Arishok? You had all the excitement of potential war with the Qunari and the world at your feet...

You really are. Have you tried the Netflix?

You could help me work out if my mark's grown if you want. I feel like it has.

I spent more time trying to decide what to watch than I did actually watch anything.

[Athera]
That is concerning. I'd be happy to help.

I have had that problem too. Do you know there are more places that show films and television?

I also found a place that serves nothing but desserts. We could go there and then spar to work off the richness?

[Ethan]
I do not want to worry Varric. Can we keep this between us, please?

More places? Why is there a need for more?

I would be willing to try that.

[Athera]
My lips are sealed. Up until the point we know there's an issue that need addressing.

Apparently they have different, exclusive options.

Yeah? Good. I've wanted to try it but I don't want to try it alone.

[Ethan]
Thank you, but you and I both know there is nothing that could be done here even if it was an issue that needs addressing.

Hm. Just sounds like more ways to waste time.

Maker forbid.

[Athera]
Where there is a will there is a way. Even if it means taking your arm before the mark claims the rest of you, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

This place is filled with ways to pointlessly waste time.

Are you mocking me, Champion?

[Ethan]
Perhaps. Either way, I'd apprecaite you helping me keep track of it.

Why would I do that, Inquisitor?

Consider me fully onboard.

There seems to be a distinct move towards laziness. Everything is created for convenience.

I do like the packaged meat though, and the winter boxes.

Sarcasm is unbecoming of such a legend, you know. The stories have you being a smooth, charming human. Not a disaster Shem.

[Ethan]
Ma serannas, my friend.

Fenris would hate it.

I enjoy the hot water and refrigerated food.

You wound me, Athera. Wounded. I would be surprised if I was able to repair my injured pride.

[Athera]
When would you like to start?

[info]halam_shivanas

I think that there are a great many things here that Fenris would hate. The people, for a start. Me too, probably.

Oh! The hot water? You enjoy that? I had no idea...

I'm sure you'll manage somehow, humans are supposed be resilient.

[Ethan]
Soon, please. At least to get a bench mark of where it is now.

Contrary to what everybody thinks he does not hate everybody. In fact he actually admitted to me a while back that he just likes to act like he does as it stops people from speaking to him.

What was that you were saying about sarcasm, Inquisitor? Tsk tsk, not setting a good example.

Oh, we are. It's why we're so damn hard to kill. Just ask the Arishok.

[Athera]
I can do it now if you'd like?

That being said he still dislikes mages, does he not?

Now, now, Champion... firstly, I'm not yet a legend, despite Varric's best efforts. Secondly, the stories definitely have me sassing reverend mothers and humans everywhere. :P

Oh, wait, I can't. You killed him. Of course. There is a lot of things I could say about humans, but not all of them are favourable. I'm relying on you to change my mind.

[Ethan]
Yes, that would be good, please.

Not as much as he used to. It helps that my sister is a mage.

Ah then you are the last that should judge me for my colourful use of sarcasm ;)

Let's not go down that particular road, hm? We all do what we need to after all.

[Athera]
Where are you?

I'm sorry he isn't here.

Not at all, I'm just holding you up to the standards shared with all of Thedas by your best friend.

I'm glad we're on the same side. Even after taking down Corypheus, the idea of fighting an angry Qunari is scary.

In my room, listening to some music on the Spotify.

He's better off where he is I'm sure.

He did me prouder than my own achievements ever could.

I won't lie, it is genuinely terrifying.

[Athera]
On my way.

Give me a Magister that breached the Golden City any day.

[Ethan]
Don't bother knocking. I'm decent.

I don't even know what the first and third are and not sure Elfroot would do considering it's used to craft healing poultices?

When did you get your hands on Elfroot?

Hopefully you've a Greenhouse given how useful Elfroot is and how many people seem prone to injury.

Clearly not as I was completely unaware that it could be smoked. Merrill never mentioned anything and I'm sure the Dalish were nothing if not the first to discover such a thing. Makes me wonder if she was keeping that to herself.

I'm sure the healers here appreciate that.
