My name is Joan Watson, I had recently arrived here (yesterday to be exact), I was trying to figure this out myself, however the turn in events is... daunting.

I'll be on the 8th floor with anyone under 18, unable to assist or who just needs somewhere safe. Anyone is welcome, not just the younger ones, and I understand there is further assistance.

I am was a doctor, so I can help if you get hurt.

If you have children or young ones you don't want to leave unattended, please feel free to drop them off and I'll look after them while you help... fight whatever that is.

To the kids, we'll find some things to do that you all like and we'll stay safe waiting for people to come home.

Can you put my arm back in?

I can. Can you get back to the building?

Yeah. I'll be right there. Thank you.

Not a problem. Will you need ice or anything? I'll have it ready.

I guess I'll take some ice too. Is that customary?

Generally it helps with muscle after popping things back in, calms the inflammation. But there are magic people and robots around, so I thought it prudent to check.

I'm not really one of those. I have super soldier genes, but that only means I heal faster.

Then the ice will at least make it hurt less while it heals faster. Does ibuprofen work for you? There's some in the first aid kit here.

That sounds like a solid plan.

It doesn't. But I feel like the Bartons and Tony might need them.

I guess I'll work at collecting the first aid kits for people then.

Might need to get some ice packs for the old guy.

Pretty sure bones aren't supposed to creak like that.

Luckily, there's an abundance of ice, and it's easy to make.

They do at times, but it's not a good indication of health.

I mean, yeah. Freezers help.

I'm not surprised. He's a Barton, after all.

That they do.

Trouble makers? Or just attract it?

That sounds dumb.

Kids can be heroes too!

I'm sure, but not all of them can. Some need to stay in where it's safe.

Are you a hero?

Okay, I'm new here, so this is very strange.

But be careful and when you need to rest, come back. If you need something to eat or a towel to dry off with, we'll have them.

I haven't found any injured yet, but that is helpful to know that you're available, Joan. My name is Diana. Thank you for looking out for the young ones.

I hear there's a clinic downstairs for serious ones, but bumps, cuts and bruises, I can manage.

It's not a problem, likely the best place for me. I'm not sure I'd be able to help outside at all.

Yes, there are several capable physicians there.

It is chaotic at best. The children will be frightened, so having a calm presence like you seem to possess is ideal.

That's good. Hopefully it won't be needed though.

In my lines of work, calm tends to work best. We'll make it through, hopefully this doesn't last long.

Stop by if you need some rest. We're going to have snacks and plenty of blankets for warmth.

I hope for that, too.

Good. If you find yourself running short and in need of something, I will bring it to you. Do not worry about me, my strength won't fade.

I know I have some Ibuprofen and some Tylenol in the medicine cabinet in my bathroom, you're welcome to it. I think I have some bandage stuff in there too.

Hi, I'm Natasha, your fellow guardian and assigned roommate although I'm not living there right now. If there's anything you need, feel free to take it.

Joan/Natasha

I don't know what your experience is but if you should need them and I hope to hell you don't, there are some weapons in a locked chest in the closet. [make up numbers] is the combination.

Great, I'll keep them nearby. I think most will go to the clinic on the ground floor, but there may be a visit or two if it's busy.

Thank you Natasha, we'll try not to rifle through your belongings but if needed.

[Joan/Natasha]
I'm most proficient with single stick and boxing, but I can use firearms. I may make sure there's something at hand for protection. It's my understand Dave, who's here with me, is former military.

Thank you.

I'm Dr Wilson, I run the clinic, James Rogers is my ward. Can you do a follow up with him later and make sure his arm's okay? He's refusing to come by and I can't leave to deal with his stubborn ass.

Of course, I'll see if he's able to bring some stuff for the kids and try to check him over while he's here. I don't foresee any issues, it was a simple dislocation, but I'll give him a once over.

He's prone to them, they usually go back in okay. I just have a mandatory check up policy for dislocations. My first practical medical experience was in the Army, I've seen some shit.

My partner where I'm from is the same, although he sometimes thinks it's a game just popping out his shoulder. But I'll see if James will let me make sure it's okay.
