I feel like I haven't been to the ballet in ages. I know planning things is a little risky here but the NYC Ballet's winter season starts on the 21st and on the alternate days they're doing Balanchine's Allegro Brillante, La Source and Firebird. Anyone want to come with me one day?

Firebird is one of my favorites. I'd like to go.

Firebird and Allegro Brillante are both stunning, really, but I do prefer Firebird. Allegro Brillante is more a technical showpiece, Firebird is a dance.

That's why I like it. Have you ever seen Giselle? That one and Dance of the Blessed Spirits round out my top three.

I have trouble picking a top anything. Esmeralda, maybe, I saw that and Carmen when I went to St Petersburg.

I probably haven't seen very many, so it's probably easier for me.

I went on a bit of an arts and culture world tour in my twenties. Even apart from that I've had about twenty years for that sort of thing.
