I'm willing to make a trade if you do.

I need blood and little doses of my blood can heal (as long as they don't die with it in their system). I feel like we could probably help each other... Discreetly.

A few times a week typically. But, I came here... In bad shape. I was dosed with a high content of an herb that weakens vampires, and nearly killed.

My friend has been providing for me, but I'm concerned about letting him continue to do so. I'm only feeding enough so that I dont lose control of my senses.

I have heard, yes. Sebastian spoke to me about it. I am obviously interested in that as a solution if that works out. Though I'm curious about how this stacks up against animal blood as well.

I know we've had vampires at least on and off while we've been here, but the synthetic stuff is actually the first time we've been asked to help with nutrition, so I'm not sure how to it compares to alternatives on a practical level. Then again I'm guessing people's requirements probably differ across different timelines anyway. We based this on perfluorocarbon blood substitutes since they don't rely on modified hemoglobin as a base - basically we can make it without needing actual blood to start with. But if it doesn't work that's going to be the next alternative, probably. It sounds like it would still need a lot less actual blood product than what you'd be requiring straight, and even if you stuck with animal blood that's going to be a significant amount.

	Human blood is better than Animal blood. Chemically, I guess, there is something majority different. While we can feed off animal blood, it makes us weaker, slower, hungrier. It is unideal and in only knew one dude to do it long term. I'm just trying to be a better person than I used to be. And that means being... Better... About eating. (Reply to this) (Parent)
