For those of you not familiar with this version of the 1920s, some information.

Yes, alcohol is illegal, this is the decade they passed the prohibition laws that lasted until the early 30s. As a result, illegal distribution boomed. As you may be able to guess, those who partook in that distribution weren't always the most savour of people. Mobsters really made a killing on it. Literally and figuratively.

So, to avoid any of you entering the wrong speakeasies or getting into some trouble with poorly or improperly mixed alcohol, I do have locations of the more reliable ones and the current codes to enter -they are called speakeasies for a reason. I don't require anything in return, other than perhaps a favour in the future, but it's better no one ends up with alcohol poisoning while we're here. Just tell me you're prepared to meet those terms and I'll send you a map and list of the passwords.

I doubt the hospitals are all that reliable if you aren't taken back to one of our doctor types.

[KILLIAN]

For you, there's no request. Although I dare say you can smell poorly made alcohol the second a cork is out of it.

Usually depends on what I need at the time and who can help.

Scouting for something, maybe an extra set of hands for something. Your undying soul.

That last one was a joke.

You wouldn't want my soul anyway. But the other things listed would be doable. I like to know what I'm getting myself into.

Oh, who says I wouldn't want your soul? Every soul has value.

Nothing overly illegal would be required. I can usually do those things myself.

A lot to unpack with mine.

Not a problem. I have a long relationship with the morally grey.

Those ones can be the most use. Besides, in my world it's not your soul that's useful, but the heart.

I'd call myself ... ethically compromised at the moment, but not that badly.

Ethically compromised and morally grey sounds like a great combination.

Okay, I'll take the locations in case of prohibition, and I'll owe you that favor.

Then I'll just have to keep you in mind for those minor illegal events.

Where are you right now? I'll send it along.
