So, hey there. I was going to ask if anyone knew how long this stay is going to last since I really need to get back home before my sister steals the entirety of my shoe closet, but after lurking a bit I'm starting to think no answer will make me a happy Buffy.
So instead I'll just say hi. I'm Buffy Summers. How's it going?
And I'm just curious, are we just supposed to smile and play house here?
...what is there to do exactly? I mean, I never had a real chance to explore real Manhattan so I'm feeling a bit lost at what to do now.

Oh! And really important question.. is there shrimp here?

Not exactly my favorite thing either, but it kind of means we're all on an even playing field of knowledge. Not that it'll do us any good if some big bad decides to stomp on the snowglobe of our lives.

I was really hoping that just this once, it wasn't that. I mean, I can't enjoy a forced sabbatical if I don't know if we're all going to be sold to alien cable companies or something.

Well think about it. We're all trapped but basically told to keep living normal-ish lives because of some random entity. It's like we're a pilot episode of.. um.. what's that show.. Big Brother or something? And what do you do with a show? You shop it around to networks. So.. alien network. Or higher power. Maybe even twisty evil tv gods or something.

Yeah, but I think it just means it's on us to make them our own, you know? Not like I had a lot of photos left at home anyway. We just have to add our own flair to them.

So you're a little younger than Dawn, good to know. No buying you cigarettes or whatever the rebel kids want these days. God, what are the popular things these days anyway?? And this Rosa has given you really smart advice. Ooh, here's another tidbit for you, never tell anyone they have mom hair.

New York could be a hellmouth. Or some kind of magnet for human souls so everyone just ends up here. Or you could just be right and I'm coming up with ideas just to be a pain. L.A was amazing when I lived there. The only real problem I ever had were the vampires, but that's a universal problem. You know, I've never had Dunkin' Donuts. I'm going to have fix that. Going to need to find out which chains fit for me here.

It's a mouth of hell. Basically a mystical spot of evil that can open into a hell dimension. Demons, vampires, they all tend to gravitate towards it. And yes, seriously. It's all real where I come from. ..And I guess I'm getting donuts this weekend.
