[ Tony & Sam ]

I know it's the holidays and no one wants to work right now but do either of you know if there is anyone here who might be into tinkering with creating synthetic blood? For drinking purposes. Or, you know, are you interested yourselves?

It could be a neat project for me and the kids. What's up?

One of our new arrivals is a vampire. Animal blood is less than desirable, and I think we all see the problem with human blood. At school the vamps use blood bags, but I don't know how the clinic gets those here, or if they're in short supply. Synthetic seems to tick most of the boxes if we can keep this person in good health with it. We don't have it back home, but we don't have you guys, either.

I knew I could count on you.

Not rushing, but any idea on a timeline?

I'll start tonight and then I'll have a better idea of a timeline.

If you need to reach out to him for testing, his name is Sebastian.

[much later that night]

Think it will be sooner than later. Your friend is okay with us knowing?

He is. And I know you won't do anything to hurt him because of what he is or has done. Other people, I am less sure about

Synthetic blood for body oxygenation purposes isn't that enormously hard, so for drinking purposes shouldn't be too much more difficult.

Oh, good. I wasn't looking forward to becoming a walking blood bank. Thank you.

Well, I was a medic in the Army, it's not like I'm unfamiliar with blood products. I've got a pretty good idea what we should be looking at.

That's why I reached out to you and Tony. I figured you would know the most.
