I like to think this would have been me if my family had lived longer. And in the surburbs. "Can I borrow your kids (for science)?" sounds like it would have been a blast though.

[Bucky Barnes]
It kills me that a Six Million Dollar Man reference would go straight over your head here. I have a basically complete arm (still need access to the internals until it's fully set up) sitting around going spare. I want to take some of the crap out of your shoulder first then probably give it a few days assuming you heal even half as well as Cap does before actually fitting and calibrating it.

You probably would have to actually come to my lab, but we're closed for the holidays so everyone left is keeping their heads down and Tony's busy being domestic.

Hey, which of the kids up there do you guys think are least likely to have many people buying them presents?

poor belly flop form, you have to lean in to it.

I'm cutting him some slack since you could see he was bracing for the impact. He'd probably do better with water.

We've got magic types all over the place but that sort of defeats the purpose of sciencing it. I'm gonna have to do some maths but it should be possible.

I don't know if I heal as fast as Steve, but I heal pretty damn fast. Don't have a lot going on so whenever you have time to dig around in my shoulder, let me know.

Where's your lab?

Apparently I just added "find a suitable pool to fill with jello" and "fill a pool with jello" to my list when I still haven't even half finished present shopping, but I can do that during surgery-related downtime. Maybe tomorrow afternoon?

Everyone on the floor will have something to open, at least from me, but I'm sure any of them would appreciate anything extra.

That's... not helpful. I'm sure they'd all appreciate extra presents. I want to know which ones probably won't have many. If I try to pick people myself I'm most likely to think of the ones that are more visible on the network, and they're exactly the ones that probably do have a bunch of friends already.

We haven't exactly done a headcount on their friends, but I personally would say if you're looking to send a gift for one of them, you should do something for all of them. We've already got multiple presents for everyone on our floor, but that doesn't mean they won't feel left out of just one of two of them gets a gift from someone none of them really knows that well.

It feels like using magic would take a little bit of the fun out of it. Half the point is that basically no one gets to do it because making a pool of jello is actually weirdly hard.
