This is a lot more normal than I was imagining the outside of the Soul Stone would be. Are we really expecting to be here for a long time? Because I don't know how to find a job. No one I know has one except Peter and I don't think I could run a company. I'm not even really sure how much money anything is worth.

	Fair enough. I'm from a world where it turns out a brainwashed solider killed my parents. I logically know it is not his fault, but that is not always enough, you know? I came here from a planet where I was fighting a huge ass purple alien who wanted to wipe out most of civilization to start anew. I saw nearly everyone I was with turn to dust so I imagine the toll is pretty high, but I never made it back to Earth find out. Then of course World War II wiped out six million Jewish people alone. World War I, Vietnam, Afghanistan - you'd think we would learn to stop annihilating civilizations at some point.

Maybe they were just good at it?

	I was in Afghanistan, it’s underrated in terms of the sheer imbalance. There’s been a couple of huge purple aliens too. But the bulk of it’s just been very smart people who snapped in a very bad way. It wasn’t personal for me ~~like it~~ then. 	Pick someone evil you really hate and remind yourself you don't want to be like them? I used to think spite was easier than the whole sentimental "my dead loved ones would want me to do the right thing" but that one's actually been getting me more since Vision died. 	He Well for starter’s he’s a she. Not really, I mean, she doesn’t actually have a gender, but she said people perceived her as less threatening that way and it was just easier than the whole singular they thing. Otherwise, yeah. Uh, yeah, no kidding.

Space. Via a secret Russian research base built where she crash landed in Tunguska so they could pull bits off and use them to make super soldiers. Everyone bailed when they stopped getting paid and ten years or so later she’d repaired enough to start broadcasting the warning she’d come here to give. Nick pulled me in to investigate the source.

That’s basically all she’d done for god knows how long. Try to reach planets ahead of it so they’d have time to build defences. We were the first ones to succeed, though the Kree got pretty good at swooping in after to peck at the carrion.
