Now that I wouldn't be ruining any holidays... It's been mentioned that I could graduate at the end of the year. I already have a job lined up, and I'd still live here at least until May if not longer. But I'm taking advice on the subject.

We could look into more challenging class options. For you and some of the other kids.

I think having a semi-normal high school experience could be good for you.

I don't think putting me in a gifted class is giving me a normal high school experience.

But why? I'm not going to college. And I've been making friends without school.

Because you deserve a chance to actually act like a teenager, Hope.
Go to dances, maybe a pep rally or two. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up, because once you're an actual adult, you can't really go back.

I know it's not all awesome, but there are good parts, too, aren't there? Getting to hang out with Lizzie and Josie and some of the other kids. If you really want to graduate early, I'll support you, but I don't think you should be in a hurry to leave in behind.

I think you should do what makes you happy. I think you need to be the one to decide but if Dad did talk you out of it then I'm glad you're sticking around. I'd still see you like, all the time but I'd miss you?
