What do you do at a wedding when your boyfriend's in the wedding party?

I still haven't really figured out how to find books that might be interesting by browsing a bookstore. Especially ebooks. Is there a trick to it or is it just completely impossible?

Wander around and read the summaries?

There's just a lot of them.

Maybe pick a different section each time you go? This way you are not overwhelmed with so many choices, but you'll eventually get to the whole place?

That might work. I think ebooks just have too much choice right now as well. Back home I mostly read books from Stephen's library, and after I moved out I was too busy to read much, so everything here's new.

Was Stephen your boyfriend?

My teacher. I was the youngest one on the team by a lot.

INNER LIZZIE: DUH, LIZZIE. You can't just BLURT these things out to strangers in some weird alternate dimension!!

Right. Sorry!

The only boyfriend I've had is James after I got here. Until I got turned ten years older anyway, and that seems too weird to count.

I don't think I know James.

Someone else mentioned turning much younger. This place is trippy.

He just moved out of his dad's  and he works and studies so I don't think he's been on the network very much recently.

Yes. It shouldn't really be possible for that much chaos without it causing any instability.

My ex-b- best fr-- friend would really be intrigued by this place, I think.

So would Stephen. He likes studying that sort of thing, different realms and realities.

I still haven't found an interesting book...ever.

That doesn't seem very plausible. Maybe you just need audiobooks or something.

You don't have to if you don't want to. But books can have literally anything in them so it doesn't make sense that none would be interesting unless it was the format.

Well, Mum Hermione recommended some yesterday so maybe I will give it a shot.

I don't know what you already know. I'm from Transia so lots of music and food, sometimes movies. I like exploring, and making things, and learning how things affect each other in an environment.

Start with a genre or general type you might be interested in. Do you like non-fiction autobiographies or maybe you prefer contemporary young adult literature that's more slice of life style? Science fiction that's heavy on the science? Then go from there. You can also always ask clerks, look up "best books of [insert your preferred year here because there are a lot of years and books]" on the internet to find lists, ask others for recommendations on books they like, or check out the store's top picks. Same with libraries. A lot of libraries have top picks, too. In a variety of genres. Then you read the description, maybe check out the first paragraph or two, and if it catches your interest, there ya go! If not, move on to the next. Sometimes interesting covers can be a good way to go. It isn't the best way to judge a book, but it's an eye catching way to get you interested in what it might hold.

Maybe. Maybe just start with recommended books or top books. There's a website, GoodReads, and it's got a year book list of genres voted on by users. Start with previous years and just see what looks good. Then borrow from the library. If you don't like it, you didn't waste as much time and money on it. If you like it, you can buy it later.

Oh, that seems like it would help. There should be one of those for everything.
