Sadly, however much it looks like New York. We're not actually on a version of Earth. Since, we can't actually leave the city.

Also, I'm afarid to say no one's actually worked out how to get us home yet.

Oh, it does. Just not one we can use at will. It seems that the entity is in charge of our entrance and exit.

Many people have arrived from different parts of their timelines. And no one has reported that anyone who came from earlier points had disappeared from their world.
