It's a bit hard to explain but Goodland is a very different place than where you're from. Everyone here is from different places.

Why? Dad will be mad at me if I go with Mr. Jones. He says Juggie's parents have dirty blood, whatever that means.

It's okay, I guess. I liked it more when I was younger. Before Polly got mean and before Juggie's mom left and Mom and Dad got so weird.
