It's scary how easy it's been to settle into a life here. A good life, too. I miss people from home but the majority of my 'family' are right here and so long as they are I feel safe. Are we supposed to be happy here?

Well, my dad's here, and my girlfriend, and her mom. I miss my best friend, but I am pretty much happy here.

My mom split on us a long time ago, so I don't miss her that much. Miss what was, sure, but I don't think i want her to show up here. I can do without that drama.

My dad did the same thing. It's always been just me and mom, you know? I get your drift on your situation, though, cause I sure as hell wouldn't want to deal with my dad showing up here. I spent enough time hoping he'd want me around without that here too.

Yeah, me too. I just hope she's home and safe.

I think she probably is? My girlfriend, when she got here a couple weeks ago, she said I'm just fine back home, even though I'd been here for a couple months. I think we're just pulled out of the time line but we're also still in it, you know?

That is kinda freaky. So back home we're just living our lives and doing life-stuff while actually we're here? Shit, now I have to factor time travel and extra-dimensions into all this. Information blowing my mind and also relief that mom doesn't think I abandoned her.
