Okay. Okay. This is ... it's kinda cute, I like it. Cosy.

But listen, Chewie and I have had a hard week. Hell month? I think birthing 117 babies is a month of hardship, Chewie needs a rest, I need a rest. So can we like just point me at whatever the problem is, I'll do the Avenger spiel and then can I go back to my ship? Harrison is going to take all this disappearing personally. Tony's AI's get offended sometimes.

So. What's the mission? Can I blast it or am I going to need to barter something?

Mahr-Vehl. I guess that might just be a difference in accepted transliteration.

I vaguely know that name. She was a mutant, right?

Specifically, I'm a biologist specialising in cybernetics and nanotechnology with a crash course in dimensional physics, and I run the medical clinic here as well as working on some personal projects. Or as Nick would say, a techno-weirdo.

They used to scold me for actually using his proper name so I'm not sure we were too concerned about accurately conveying the Kree language.

I'm pretty sure he liked me talking back. Or at least he was willing to put up with it if it meant he could watch me talk back to everyone else as well. He had a decidedly smug vibe when he introduced me to Captain Rogers and the OG Black Widow.

	People around me tend to get uncomfortable when I speak Kree. Don't know why. But there's not a lot that understand it around me. Because of ... a person or something else? 	I married someone who could speak literally any language that has ever existed, Kree's nothing. Combination of factors, most of them violent. Lots of general attrition. They took plenty of casualties during the civil war, then SEAR released some kind of mutant vaccine. Usually. Sometimes it's more focused than other times. (Reply to this) (Parent)
