You don’t have to give me an allowance, dad! I’ll work on finding a job soon. Do you have any suggestions? I mean I guess I could get a CSI job but you guys use such old-fashioned tools around here that I’d have to learn all over again!

I could deliver pizzas! That might be fun. I could definitely keep them hot and hopefully they wouldn’t catch fire?

Hey! Exactly how do you manage to make me feel old in a matter of seconds? But we don't even have some of those newfangled words you use for your CSI stuff yet, but those old-fashioned tools still do the job.

Catching on fire would be bad.

Dad, we can do DNA tests in a second in the field. So simple and it takes you guys sooooo long. And that’s just the beginning.

I think when you become a dad, you automatically become old? And sure, an abacus works for math too but that doesn’t mean it’s not old fashioned.

After we eat could you show me around? I need to stretch my legs.

I'll admit that it would make my job a lot easier, but I also like being surrounded by mountains of paperwork and cases?

I'm not even thirty yet, and I already can't drink and now I'm old. How does an abacus even work? [...] I actually do know how an abacus works, I see where you're coming from now with the old thing.

Oh, we do have a speed lab! I built it last week.
