It's kind of hard not to. My heart is broken for them; they didn't ask for this. And I feel really selfishly glad that no one I care about here seems to be missing. And glad it wasn't me.

None of us asked for it. Those people didn't ask to leave. Their loved ones didn't ask for them to go. You didn't ask to be erased from the memory of all you love. I didn't ask to be killed at sixteen. It's...well, it really sucks. And nobody's pain is less than anyone else's. It's all valid.

Hey, I'm getting out of the hospital soon. Why don't we go have coffee, or do something else to get our minds off of it?

I don't know if this helps at all but I've been here and gone and come back a few times. I don't remember any of my time here before, to me this is the first time. I don't know what happened to the other mes, though so...maybe not really all that helpful, here.
