So you decided you don't mind being outshone on your wedding day.

He's obviously not going to want anything too wild, but we should still do something lowkey for a stag's night. The unpredictability here just makes it a little harder to plan anything properly. Thoughts on booking a private room at a restaurant and asking the Entity nicely not to mess it up?

Is that where funnel cake comes from?

I was thinking of a kids book. Not sure why it's called funnel cake, actually.

There's a good chance I could be misremembering or confusing it with a horror movie, because that's a weird thing to put in a children's book even by that guy's standards. I definitely remember something about cake though.

I've heard stories about where it comes from, but I think it was mostly a lady in Pennsylvania who used a funnel to put batter into hot oil and fried them during a Pennsylvania Dutch festival of some kind in the 50's. Or maybe it was the 60's. But basically you get a funnel, and you pour the batter into the funnel and let it into the oil to fry, and, boom, funnel cake.

It's a "small doses" food with the powdered sugar and fried parts. I recommend sharing it with friends next time you get one!
