[Tony]
So you decided you don't mind being outshone on your wedding day.

[Groomsmen]
He's obviously not going to want anything too wild, but we should still do something lowkey for a stag's night. The unpredictability here just makes it a little harder to plan anything properly. Thoughts on booking a private room at a restaurant and asking the Entity nicely not to mess it up?

I think a restaurant could work! I don't know anything about being a groomsman or doing these things other than what movies say, but I don't see why a good restaurant with a great cheeseburger wouldn't be nice! Maybe something with lowkey music.

Burgers would be good, actually. Plus that makes it easier to narrow things down considering how many places there are in Manhattan.

We just find a place that's a little more upscale than your basic burger joint without being too fancy. We can all look for some place and decide that way?

I foresee taste testing.

Do you think we could convince Tony and Pepper to let us help taste test the cake, too? As a sampling of the crowd to ensure the guests will enjoy the cake they pick.

I feel like we could make a good argument for it.

We can be tiebreakers, too. Really, more taste buds are better. How can you find the best cake if you don't have enough testers?

If we can convince Tony and Pepper to include us, why not?

I'm pretty sure he picked you coz he wants you, not because of tallying up who'd be best at stereotypical wedding stuff. The only important bit is being at the actual wedding.

What do I actually have to do at the wedding?

Not much. Mostly just stand there and be happy he's happy. We may have to walk in order at some point.

Why do you say that? I have absolutely no idea what to do, either, except wear a tux and stand there and support Tony and Pepper. And witness a wedding. And eat food.

I don't know how weddings work. I don't even know Pepper all that well. I don't even know what a groomsman is supposed to do.

And ugh. I gotta wear tux.

I'm not entirely sure what they do, either. I may look it up later.

We all do. We will all look like very dapper secret agents.

Well you don't have to. We're not going to tie you down and force it down your throat with a funnel or anything.

There's a good chance I could be misremembering or confusing it with a horror movie, because that's a weird thing to put in a children's book even by that guy's standards. I definitely remember something about cake though.

I've heard stories about where it comes from, but I think it was mostly a lady in Pennsylvania who used a funnel to put batter into hot oil and fried them during a Pennsylvania Dutch festival of some kind in the 50's. Or maybe it was the 60's. But basically you get a funnel, and you pour the batter into the funnel and let it into the oil to fry, and, boom, funnel cake.

It's a "small doses" food with the powdered sugar and fried parts. I recommend sharing it with friends next time you get one!
