Today I had intended to go over my lesson plans but the beach has a definite pull. I'm going to take my first vacation day and see what it feels like.

I did something similar! I sat for a few hours on the beach, and journaled some. I am enjoying this stop, and it sounds like you are as well?

Peaceful, isn't it? When you get away from the boardwalk, at least. I'm glad you're having a good time. I am too, though I'm not entirely sure why the sun and sand has such a positive effect on my mood, it definitely does.
