It took a lot for me to tell you what is going on, but you keep asking me to repeat it. My story doesn’t change just because you missed it. They all know what Peter means to me, what I lost, but the moment Clint showed and in his grief told me I wasn’t allowed to mourn and that Peter was a protege, they fell silent and didn’t even bother checking on me.

Peter is my son. I’m allowed to mourn. I’m allowed to be upset my “friends” view me as a surrogate until someone else comes along. Been there with Steve and I’m not going through that pain again. Once was enough.

Ok, wow. Your attitude is just....wow. I do not appreciate being treated this way, Tony. I didn't do anything. I'm on your side. Try to keep that in mind.

You never told me who THEY were. I was asking for details so I could better understand.

What did Steve do? Never mind. You're angry. You're upset. And I know from experience that until you get it out of your system you're just going to be like this. Come home whenever you feel like it.

I meant what happened at home with Steve. That is all. I don’t want to face something like that again.

I’m sorry if you took it that way; it felt as if your questioning was doubting my feelings. I thought it was pretty self explanatory from my initial comment so I’m sorry I got upset with you, but calling them friends is not true for me and I doubt it will be again. I’m not sure why you would want me to be around people who watched me hurt and didn’t care until I said I want going to a dinner.
